Get Involved and Attend Board Meetings!

The monthly SCEA Board Meetings are open to all SCEA members that wish to attend.  Board meetings are usually held every first Friday of the month. If the first Friday of the month falls on a City closed Friday, the meeting is usually scheduled on the second Friday.  Meeting locations vary and can be found on the calendar.

SCEA members covered by California SDI

SDl tax deductions must start at the beginning of a quarter (January 1, April 1, July 1, October 1 ). Members are required to contribute for two full quarters (six months) before they will be able to submit an application for benefits. Therefore, employees will experience a tax deduction from October 1 - March 31, and can apply for benefits on or after April 1. Should there be a delay in the application process; the implementation will be delayed until January 1, the first day of the next quarter.
